Clear Vegetable Broth Soup [Rice Cooker Recipe]
A great soup for everything
This is one of our rice cooker recipes which can multi-task. Literally. Drink it as a lovely, healthy soup. Or use it as a noodle soup base, the noodles become so delicious and you don't need to add ANY extra flavouring to the noodle soup.
Time: Prep 10 mins / Cooking 90 mins
- 3 tomatoes, halved
- 2 carrots, large
- 4 sweetcorn cobettes (or 2 sweetcorns)
- 2 potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 5 mushrooms, sliced
- 21/4 litres water, to fill rice cooker
- 1-2 tsp salt, or to taste
Ready? Let's cook!
Stick all the vegetables in the rice cooker. Add the water and close the lid.
Cook for 1 hour to 1.5 hours.
Add 1-2 tsp salt or to taste.
