Marinate, fry, eat! So simple and so delicious!

These are amazingly tasty, eat them with some veg and mash or slice them up to go in a stir fry.

Serves 2

  • 2-pack, thick-cut pork chop steaks

Marinade for 2 pork chops

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3-4 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Watch how we make it:



Cover the pork chops with the marinade ingredients. If you have 1 pork chop to cook, half the amount of ingredients. Leave for 15 minutes or more, you can even leave overnight in the fridge.

Ready? Let's cook!


Heat wok on high heat until hot. No need to add any oil.


Add steaks and brown one side for 3 minutes.


Turn heat down to medium-high. Flip the chops over and fry for 7 minutes. Keep an eye on the steaks in this time in case it burns.


Turn the chops over one more time and fry for 5 minutes on the other side.


Depending on size of steaks, make a small cut in the middle to check whether it's cooked through. If it's not fry for an extra 2 minutes.
